We’ve collaborated with fellow storytellers to bring their words to life—through original imagery and themes that depict life in the North-East of India, kitchens, cats and all.

The HEART of Our HOME:

TFFP Fellowship

The book is part of The Forgotten Folklore Project (TFFP) - Fellowship edition, which focuses on showcasing the cultural heritage of kitchens in the North-East of India. 

Through the illustrations and voices of it's writers, it highlights the role of kitchens as sacred spaces and living archives within various tribal communities.

We Come from MIST: WRITINGS from Meghalaya  -
ZUBAAN BOOKS

The publication is an anthology of prose, poetry, musical lyrics, and visual art—by the women of Meghalaya in Northeast India and edited by Janice Pariat.

Scatter the RICE Clouds-
TFFP by  the Sauramandala Foundation

A children's book inspired by a Khasi saying "Phriang jarut ka Miaw," in the Khasi language of Meghalaya, India, where it describes the playful formation of altocumulus clouds.
